March Features at the Millstone Public House

Spring is just around the corner, but before we welcome the warmer weather, we’re embracing the flavours of March with some hearty, comforting, and downright delicious feature dishes at all four Millstone Public House locations.

Back by popular demand, the Pretzel Bites & Cheddar Dip are here for a limited time. These little bites of heaven are soft, buttery, chewy, and perfectly salted, served with our house-made jalapeño cheddar dip. One bite and you’ll understand why they’re an all-time favourite.

Nothing says March in Nova Scotia quite like a rich, slow-simmered Guinness Beef Stew. Tender beef, hearty vegetables, and a deep, flavourful broth come together for a dish that will warm your soul. Served with a house-made cheddar and chive biscuit, it’s everything you need to get through the last bit of winter.

We couldn’t celebrate March without this Irish classic. Bangers & Mash features three juicy pork sausages served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, topped with caramelized onions, green peas, and rich gravy. It’s the ultimate comfort meal and the perfect way to toast to St. Paddy’s Day.

This month’s feature pasta is one you don’t want to miss. A bold mix of spicy pesto and rosé sauce coats a bed of penne pasta, tossed with red peppers, red onions, and fresh spinach. Topped with parmesan cheese and served with a slice of garlic toast, this dish is a delicious balance of heat, creaminess, and fresh flavours.

We’re also excited to announce that our sister restaurant, The Commons on Portland, is now open on Portland Street. Come check it out and explore a whole new menu of elevated pub fare. Take a peek at the menu at www.thecommonspub.com.

These amazing feature dishes are only available for a limited time, so gather your friends and family and head to Millstone Public House to eat, drink, and celebrate March the right way.

And remember – we are 100% locally owned and operated, proudly Nova Scotian, and always excited to welcome you in. See you soon!
